I still can't believe I'll be in Denver for less than 24 hours.
I saw this great presentation on language and power and the colonial use of language vs. native languages. It was very inspiring. But I so do not have the time or energy to teach like that. And my unquiet mind kept thinking, "it's important to learn the language of power too." If you only speak a native language you lose access to some social mobility!
