I get confused. I remember everything. I remember too much, and... some of it's made up, and... some of it can't be quantified, and... there's secrets.

I'm spending the extra buck and buying them at Gelson's where they don't make me say, WTF, and I could actually *find* a person to help me if I needed one.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Places I shop, replacement blades are behind the counter. Disposable razors, otoh, are right out there for the stealing.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Back from AMAZING AND WONDERFUL Utah. It was one of the most incredible adventures I have ever been on. If you want to see pictures, you go here: [link] Now off to take a bath with bath oil--that place is way wicked dry.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Adorable!

Goddamn, he's wonderful.

In a weird coincidence, my dad has print copies of the stuff in the vault I've been interred in intermittently and I need to find out if the Smithsonian (!) or anyone else would be interested in them. FREAKY. And yet not, cause I'm in an incestuous field that sorta breeds those coincidences. It's really weird to have your biggest boss be your dad's peer and the people being the contacts for an interview back in the day being his grad students. I don't run into it too often, but when I do, I kinda feel 12. I'm in a different aspect of the field, so it really isn't nepotism, but still. "Hi! Oh hell, you know my dad. He hired and fired you back in the day."

OTOH, it has given me great pre-sight into these people.
