Punishingly Intricate

Allyson, "productize" sound very lame and klunky, actual word or no.

Many are the times I've LITERALLY screamed when someone tried to sneak that "word" into a document on which I've worked. Or said the "word" in my presence. It makes me nuts because it's so easy to reword a sentence in which it's used using actual words and retain the same meaning. Fortunately, I've usually been in charge of producing the final document and I can make sure it doesn't stay in.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

'Productize' is in the same class as BLOs (Bagel-Like Objects) that must be abhorred on sight.

OTOH, I heard a neat word on my drive to school this morning: 'hibernacula' which is the technical term for the dens or whatever that hibernating animals (like bats) hole up in.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I should really pay more attention to things. I lost all of my playcounts and stuff AGAIN when I moved my iTunes onto the new computer. And apparently I didn't need to? But I didn't care enough to go back to the old computer and follow whatever procedure I was supposed to follow the last time. Oy.

Timelies all!

Helped start the chicken soup and matzoballs for tonight. Other food prep later.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Catching up from yesterday:

Happy Belated Birthday beth!

YAY second dating Tom! Go you with your bad self.

YAY Kat!

Jilli, when we reschedule, we NEED to go bowling.

I'm not in Seattle after all, and have no idea at all what to do with myself today. I suspect getting dressed might be a good start, but I am not sure that's happening.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I am still sick. Worse sick, in some ways: the congestion in my sinuses has moved down into my nose and I'm all sniffling and miserable.

I want matzoh ball soup!

I know this is bad timing with passover and all - but I have some cooked shrimp meat, and inability to handle solid food. Anyone have any good non-spicy soup recipes using shrimp? Please?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Brooklyn Flea has some new vendors

Yeah, I'm waiting a few more weeks to see if the crowds thin out a little before I go there.

ooohhh... Brooklyn Flea looks great. Too bad I'm too far away.

I had my spa week cheap massage today. It was supposed to be a hot stone massage, but the stones never got hot so I got an invite to come back and let them have a do-over.

I t heart spa week.
