Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

It's not David's friend Phil, but this interview with Phil Gordon is pretty awesome.

Sheesh. How many Phils are there? In that article, there are Gordon, Laak, Hellmuth, Ivey, Gallfond.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Wow, congratulations Kat, that's great.

I really miss teaching literature. I mean, I love teaching the cultural stuff I teach, especially when students really do begin to open their eyes, and I love the health sciences. But sometimes I miss the literature.

Well, it's two blocks in terms of big blocks. Like Vegas sized blocks. It's about a mile. It would be about a 20-25 minute walk or a 8 minute bike ride.

I just sent an email to the two current AP Lit teachers (both PhD...no, I'm not intimidated by them at all ...) asking for their course outlines. Let me know when you have some time to meet. Maybe lunch this weekend?

Kristin, tomorrow is all screwed up. But if you have time Sunday, that should work.

OMG, my thermostat is the dumbest thing ever. So it is 80 in here and I want to get it down to 78 to not be a sweaty mess. I switch it to off, bump up the thermo, then switch to cool, and bump down the thermo. It doesn't work. I try many times. Then I try putting it on heat, ratcheting the thermo down and switching directly to cool. It works. That's...stupid.

Anyway.

And I'm angsting about a pretty buff tabby girl (I think) who saw me on the balcony and jumped to my downstairs neighbors' balcony, crying at me. I went down and rubbed her ears until she ran off, acting as if she wanted me to follow. Sweet thing, but I have no more room for cats! Ahrg. I swear, if I end up following her and she leads me to a litter, I don't know what to do.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Kat! I got your message! Phone wonky! Answer is YES!

I got microdermabrasion, tonight. My skin is all rosy. YAY SPA WEEK!

Had a kerfuffle at work over the word "productize."

I argued that it wasn't a word. And even if it was, it's idiotic, lame, and ridic marketing slang that shouldn't be on our web site.

So I went to the source of sources.

erinaceaous says that it is a word. But it is a lame word and also unattractive. I think that I have the winning opinion on MY SIDE.

Thoughts on productize?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just turned on the TV, and it's one of the few episodes of Sex and the City I've already seen. Also, my DVR doesn't seem to have recorded anything today. I hate that.

In better news, I went to a grad school reunion tonight, which was a good time and also I learned that a woman I know just moved in literally next door to me. Good times.

I can make time. You need this all wrapped up soon, right? Also, I just got an email with G.'s AP course overview. I will email it to your profile addy. You may not even need to meet with me personally, so let me know what works best.

Thoughts on productize?

It's goofy and makes you looks silly.

I have no idea why my mom looks so somber in all of them. She's really chipper and goofy. I blame photoface.
