Congratulations, JZ! May the new employer be more worthy of your awesomenessity than the old one!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yay JZ!!

Oh thank god. My Tivo is finally updating. I was beginning to get the shakes.

I was just coming to post something similar about my TV! I unplugged the power from both the TV and the cable box, and now it works! Although it was apparently a cable box issue, since the DVR didn't tape anything until the restart. Bleh.

Punishingly Intricate

I just got back from my Spa Week facial.

OH! I forgot to tell you that, inspired by your Spa Week pimping, I totally made an appointment to get some kind of body scrub thing tomorrow!

White wine and Worchester sauce. Is most tasty. And piquant.

While that sounds yummy to me, I'm pretty sure that makes it unvegetarian, right? Doesn't Worchester sauce have something fishy in it? Like anchovies? If David was trying to keep it vegetarian that is.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

You can get non-fish Worcestershire sauce, FYI.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

The classic worcestershire does have anchovies, but Hil said something enticing the other day about vegan Bloody Marys with non-anchovy worcestershire, so such a thing must be available somewhere.

(It would be pescetarian and pareve, as it doesn't have shellfish or other meat, fwiw)

lisah! YAY! As part of a SpaWeek promotion? The place I was today said they had a waiting list for any openings this week. Crazy.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Man. I'm about to propose a Hairpats for Allyson Thread.

Why can't I stop freaking? I wasn't this freaked when I moved across the country!

I left work early because I felt so nauseous. I am now making some chicken broth and hoping it passes.

I just wish I had access to the new place already for storage!

One more week. One more week.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I hope my hypothetical reaction didn't come out as a judgment.

No worries. I remember your stance on betting kittens. The family I was staying with at the time were horrified that I hadn't decaptitated him on the spot, but that's not my style. Especially when he's picking up the tab. Okay, that's flip. But I try not to espouse my point when there's no way anything positive will come of it. And he was definitely a lost cause.

Happy Birthday Sheryl!

Congrats JZ!

I'm kind of boggled that the guy was willing to share that particular nugget so matter-of-factly, ita. I mean, I get that some people have no compassion or remorse, but wouldn't he have realized that demonstrating the lack wouldn't work out well for him before then?
