Anti-angiogenesis!
DH was somewhat in this general area too for his post-doc.
Now, if only he could fix our kid. Doctor's visit this morning earned us "it's just a series of colds. come back if it goes on for too long." um. ok - is "too long" a new _medical term_? and she's mostly fine for the rest of the day. Until the 6pm 104 fever hits again. ::headdesk::
Heh. My brother is in pursuit of his PhD (probably the next year or less) so who know what drug he's using (uh, unless I ask him.) He's at UAB.
Good interviewing to you, Kat!
I used
Light in August
on my AP English exam. I don't remember what I wrote but I remember being excited to use it because we'd read the HELL out of that book. And I loved it. And I remember taking the test in our auditorium with the huge old clanky radiators.
Good luck tomorrow, Kat!!!
I don't remember my AP English exam, but I do remember my AP Spanish Lit one--just because I'd had mono, and read a couple of the last few stories for Spanish class in English translation...and then wanted to use one of them for my example on the test, only realized that I wasn't sure what the character's name was in Spanish!! (It was "Big Momma" in English, so it could've been a few things) I figured if i messed that up, it'd be obvious I didn't read it in Spanish, but I couldn't think of any other examples. I dont' remember what I did, though.
I have my new computer set up! Finally. Ugh. Now I have to go to bed, and apparently spend the whole weekend getting it to work like I want it to.
double posting and all...
I wish I could have taken AP Spanish Lit. I would have rocked that. I did regular AP Spanish and, due to fucking around the whole year in class, did verrrry poorly.
