Buffy: He ran away, right? Giles: Sort of, more. turned and swept out majestically, I suppose. Said I didn't concern him. Buffy: So a mythic triumph over a completely indifferent foe? Giles: Well, I'm not dead or unconscious, so I say bravo for me.

Happy Birthday Lillian!

In Truman AR there is (or used to be) a store that sells liquor, snacks, and live bait.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Happy Birthday Lillian!!!

liquor, snacks, and live bait.

I think the best of all worlds is store that sells snacks, liquor, live bait and ammo. 'Cuz then you're pretty much set for the weekend.

They have those in Wisconsin....

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

The next-generation ones have drive-up windows too.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Happy Birthday Lillian!

The party was nice and low-key, the way I wanted it. And now we have left-over cake and munchies that we need to get rid of by next weekend.

Happy Birthday Lillian!

I am requesting a do-over on my supposedly relaxing Sunday. I have been foiled at my attempts to relax at every turn. Foiled!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Lilybean is three? Wow!

I think Uncle Tupelo had a photo of this sign on an album cover. [link]

edit- Wikipedia is awsome:

The song "Whiskey Bottle," by Uncle Tupelo, is rumored to be about the city of Columbia as it makes specific reference to a sign which used be displayed on a Columbia tackle shop sign which read, "Liquor, Guns, and Ammo." The sign is now displayed at the downtown location of Shakespeare's pizzeria.

Yep. My college town is know for Shakespeare's Pizza, "Liquor, Guns & Ammo", and as the place where Husker Du broke up.
