Wesley: I stabbed you. I should apologize for that. But I'm honestly not sure how. I think it'll just be awkward. Gunn: Good call. Wesley: Okay.

Spike's Bitches 40: Buckle Up, Kids! Daddy's Puttin' the Hammer Down.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

School libraries sometimes like recent issues of things they cannot otherwise afford to subscribe to, and elementary schools sometimes like the ones with good pictures for art projects.

Not just elementary schools, but local middle schools will also be happy to get magazines! Or maybe that was just me.

If anyone's interested, here are the pictures from my thesis presentation yesterday: [link]

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Looks great, vw, but where is the "research orgasm" reaction shot?

No one got that. I think there was too much shock in the room.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

My head started hurting like crazy last night and it's still hurting (though less) today. I don't want to take any medication for it, but is there something natural I can do? OW!

but is there something natural I can do?

Cold compress at the back of the neck?

Caffeine?

...of course, I'm not one to avoid taking drugs if I"m in pain. Except the times that it doesn't occur to me to take drugs. Like, sometimes if I'm all muscle-achey and then hours later i'm all "Oh, I guess I could take painkiller and that would help, eh?"

That sounds nice, but I'm at work. I tried this thing I found online and it seemed to somewhat work! Press the indentation at the base of your skull and at the same time press on either side of your nose (near the eye socket) with your other hand. Increase the pressure on the eye sockets. Do it for 3 minutes. It might be in my head, but I do feel a little better. The tangerine I'm eating might also be helping.

ETA: Initial comment was to David's cold compress suggestion. I don't want to do caffeine either... Though I'd really love to!

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Oh, ouch, poor Glam. If you google "acupressure headache" you get a ton of references to various places (mostly different points on your hand) to press and prod and squeeze to alleviate the pain.

Speaking of hospitals...I'm going to be a total bitch for a minute, and not the good kind.

I dunno... telling the media to pack their nosy selves up and get out of the way of all the sick people and all the healing people sounds like a good use of bitchery to me.
