Kristin, do you remember a couple of years ago when my dogs chased the skunk into my house in the middle of the night? It was so, so awful. Just like you, I got no sleep, and in the morning when I finally was able to get into work, my boss sent me home because I was stinking up the joint (that was after two showers and my clothes were from inside of my bedroom closet. They still stunk.).

I ended up trying Nature's Miracle, tomato juice, etc for weeks to get the smell out of the dogs. The thing that finally worked was dishwashing soap! Good luck, and that sucks. So sorry!

All the best for Legion, and for you guys, Raq. The best decisions, and the best of coping. If it's time, may it help to know he's had an incomparably rich life, and handled it all with the aplomb and equanimity of a diplomat cat.

Oh Java, I had completely forgotten about that! Your situation was definitely worse than mine. He only got a peripheral spray, and that happened outside. I don't even want to think how much worse it would be inside the house. I feel so gross even under better circumstances. Poor you! I just want to go home right now, but I have to make it till after my last class.

I think the skunk spray is oily, so you need to break that down with a degreaser of some sort--like dishwashing liquid, as java suggests.

My sitter bailed for this afternoon. So much for getting some work done. *sigh*

I have now lost 2 1/2 stone (35lb) since January. I am made of awesome

Woohoo!

I've been losing no weight lately, even though I've been eating really well and exercising a decent amount. It's very annoying. I think I'm blaming one of my medications for this. I'm going to talk to my doctor about it.

Okay, I'm buying my lifetime Tivo and the woman is a complete ditz. She keeps saying "awesome!" I am currently on hold because she has to consult with a supervisor because the computer keeps saying "District of Columbia" instead of "Washington DC" ARGH.

So glad next weekend is a 3-day. I am over working (and school, for that matter).

I am dieting and working out and I AM losing weight. Happy to say I have lost 9 lbs so far--almost halfway to my goal!
