I suspect that my kitty annoyances last night were them upset about sad cat-ma from places else. Surgery went well. My kitty has three, non-cancerous legs now. Dr. D. says I can pick him up tomorrow if all is okay. She also said that I can call to check on him any time tonight or tomorrow--they're open 24 hours.
