Fred, the amazing thing is that he'll be ready to come home (with pain patch) tomorrow afternoon. He'll be pretty out of it today, so I'm going to wait until tomorrow. I just left Petco where I bought a crate (to protect him from the well-intentioned attentions of his siblings) and supplies for his recovery, including a new, easier access litter box and some pet steps so he can get up to the couch or the bed. I think I will set him up in the bedroom in the beginning.
Spike's Bitches 40: Buckle Up, Kids! Daddy's Puttin' the Hammer Down.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Come on, we can totally take those other groups! What about the theater folk? Don't forget, we work silently in the dark... you know what that means!
Annabel's story is better than a lot of Disney flicks! PRICELESS!

I have tomorrow of KT. Let me know if you want/need company.
IOmeN... I'm keeping fingers crossed my date doesn't cancel for whatever reason, which seems to be my luck of late with dates. Here's to it going well tonight! (what? me? nervous? never! what gave you that impression?)

See, I'm trying to figure out if I should be standing with the writers, or with the tech people, because the tech industry is the one that gives me the regular paychecks.

don't mess with the lawyers. I'm just saying. We may be small in number, but they don't call our system "adversarial" for nothing.
I think I am not on a team. Therefore, popcorn.
Kristin, I'm sorry you had to make the decision (and that it's so much $) but it sounds like it doesn't just mean Byron will survive longer but that he can have a happy kitty life for quite a while. Be sure to take care of yourself too!

Skipping ahead to say that at the last minute, I've decided to apply for another position at my work. I have the application done (online, saved from last time, yeah!), but had to throw together a new cover letter.
I wrote a much more detailed explanation, but my computer killed it, so short version, does anyone have time to take a quick look at the cover letter in the next half hour or so? Profile email is good.
