So remember how I bought $8 worth of plants yesterday? I then went and spent $80 on food and housing for them. Except I'm taking some back today because, seriously? What the heck would I need with FOUR tomato plants and FOUR cantaloupe vines?

But wow, the plant accessories are pricey.

ETA: Probably a good thing one of my students was working there though, because otherwise I would probably have been in here in about a month wondering why all my tomato plants were dying in their flowerpots. I know NOTHING about this stuff.

Javachick, I know where all of those cupcake places are, but only ever eat ones from Violet Cakes (of those listed). Though Violet Cakes have the stupidest most inconvenient hours ever. Their cupcakes are lovely.

Yes.

But Yummy Cupcakes are my fave.

Yes, yes!

Wait, what kind of special pots do you need for your tomato plant, Emily?? I, too, know nothing and bought a tomato plant just Sunday.

what kind of special pots do you need for your tomato plant,

The large kind, apparently. That's it, just... larger than I was expecting.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

It's more expensive than generic Claritin is.

Yeah, that’s what I was afraid of.

vw, amazon.com has generic zyrtec. 350 pills for $26.99. link

Oh, fabulous! Thank you! Will discuss with PCP tomorrow.

Yeah. They need mucho large. I was going to try some this summer, but I still worry about them getting enough light anywhere on my property, so I probably won’t bother.

Electronic thingie that tells you when your plant needs water:

Humans may not deserve to keep eating, you know?

No no no. I don't mean it. Obviously its great for someone getting into plants to have something to help them not kill it... but I can just imagine the bewildered face of my Grandmother at the sight of such a thing

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Hivemind, what's a word for "panicked internally, but no one else noticed"?

*One* word? "Nonplussed" is close, but it doesn't really imply that no one noticed.
