[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Usually I have a folder for the class I'm teaching each semester, and any emails related to that class go immediately into that folder, and then three weeks after the class is over (once I'm pretty sure I won't need any of those again), I just delete that folder. This semester, though, I haven't been so good about filing everything, so I've got to go all through my inbox to find everything I need to delete.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Happy Mother's Day to all the buffista mommies!!!

I had a very nice day with my mother. We went out for a wonderful lunch, ate too much food, and went shopping. Pretty much our Mother's Day tradition.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Kristin--the DH has asthma and allergies and we have to make sure the AC filter is changed pretty often. Did you check that out?

Omnis, I hope you find it helpful. I certainly have. And not every tip is helpful to everyone, and even she recognizes that.

So, that Home Makeover about did me in. The marathon route pained onto the therapy room wall? I cried on the phone with my brother. He laughed at me, and I didn't even care.

It probably hasn't been changed in ages, so that's a very good suggestion. I think, though, that it's the actual cold air. I don't know how to explain it, really, but it feels like the cold air is actually stealing my breath.

Totally. Though I also wondered about the wisdom of those throw rugs. And the same issue I usually have when they do houses with kids -- those kids, except maybe the little girl, are going to grow out of those rooms within a year or two.

Ha! That is the exact same thing my brother said. But, they were pretty cool--especially the penguin room

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

cold air is not good for asthma - you need air closer to body temp - 72 should be the coolest for your air temp at this point.

At least that is what I find

Yeah, cold air makes my asthma act up, too.
