You know what really helps when you're trying to use a foot pedal to listen to a recording while transcribing?
Actually plugging the foot pedal into the USB port.
DUH.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

How do you have a Klein bottle on display, Hil?
One of these, -t. [link] Right now, I've just got it sitting on top of my bookshelf. Haven't found anywhere better for it, so it's just sitting there getting dusty.
I'm even more amused that you get them from ACME Klein Bottle, than at the fact that you can get one in the first place.
I just sold a bunch of used books to Powell's online. It's neat. Type in the ISBNs, they give you an estimate, and you send them in with a shipping label they provide. You get paid in store credit. I got $20 for three three paperbacks, a hardcover "YOU: On A Diet," and one math textbook. The textbook was about $15 of that $20. (I know I could probably get more for these by just selling them myself, but this is way easier.)
Thesis seems to be great organizational tools. But I watch Mission organization and Clean sweep just because i feel way better about my disorganization afterwards.
Omnis - try making a list - that what lets me putter and clean at the same time
Thesis seems to be great organizational tools.
Absolutely. I'm finding so many ways to be productive without doing any research or writing.
Woot! I'm buzzed and had a great mother's day. Gf, her moms, and I went to GF's cousin's place. I just love GF's cuz and his wife. Such fun people!! They are also trying to procreate so we are all hopeful that we get preggers at the same time.
I wish Clean House showed more about new organization stuff. Because if you just get rid of a lot of junk and redecorate without putting in systems for how to manage stuff, then new junk will just pile up. And organization ideas are what I need. I guess Mission: Organization is better for that stuff.
