ION, DH just sent me the following, which he is planning to send to the next one of our conservative relatives who forwards an urban legend:
Everyone --
Look, I know you want to send all of us this amazing e-mail about how Obama is a secret Muslim or how Mexicans are stealing our jobs or whatever, but look.
Every time you send one of these e-mails, Bill Gates and Warren Buffett gives $1 to Osama Bin Laden.
Really. I read it on the Internet, so it must be true.
Remember this next time you e-mail me. When you e-mail urban legends, the terrorists have already won.
Oh, gosh, Susan. So tempting, but so probably going to create more furor...
I edited, t--it's slide 10, the leather corset/bustier/thing
Oh, wow!
That's sexy as hell on the mannequin. Picturing it on meara? Cannot function with prospect of that much hotness.
verra verra sexxyy..
and
grrrr grrrr grrrr I misplace things and put things in less than idea places. and I am therefore pretty good at locating misplaced items . I haven't found the cellphone. reality states that I have only looked in a small area - but still ....
Yay, I'm home!
Quickie Vegas review--Planet Hollywood apparently bribed someone to name them Best Buffet in Vegas, because they are Not All That, but the buffet at Paris is Teh Yum, especially at breakfast. Planet Hollywood is also obviously the place to be if you're young, able to persuade someone you're beautiful, and on the hunt.
Caesar's is still mindbogglingly beautiful, and the fountains at the Bellagio are gorgeous.
Now to do a quick scan of what my Bitches have been up to.
I told her that she should consider selling off half the profit to put it back in mutual funds, and, oh yeah, please don't screw around anymore with money that we (my brother and me) are really counting on to pay off debt.
It would certainly save hard feelings all around if she put it all in index funds. It's not really her money to play with.
Taz the Cat had a vet appointment today- when I helped get him in the carrier he punctured my arm but good! Ah well, can't stay mad at him... the vet appointment was not great. his bladder crystals haven't dissolved with the prescription cat food so surgery looks like an option which is something we were hoping it wouldn't come to. Oh, Taz! We will be getting a second opinion and if we do decide on going forward with the surgery, we'll go elsewhere... the vet Tom spoke to said that practice didn't have the best track record with that type of surgery. Yay honesty?
Has anyone gotten/considered getting pet insurance?
I have no advice on the pet insurance thing, but {{{Taz}}} and you too, of course.
Thankfully, Taz isn't in any pain or discomfort at this point. He is also awfully cute!
Oh, poor Taz!
Nora, I haven't had pet insurance with Toto for a while, but when I did have it, you couldn't get it if you know about any health problems that were going to need surgery or treatment or whatever. Just, FYI.
Ok, you know what's weird? Finding your therapist's dissertation online.
