[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

{{Suzi}} We have 18 days left of school. Can't wait. Yes, I will be ready for school to start again shortly thereafter.

Speaking of work, I just got the best kind of promotion ever--the kind where they simply gave a name and a jump in pay grade to the stuff I've already been doing.

Yes! Woo!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

vw, I'm glad you were able to straighten that out. Good luck with the doctor's appointment.

{{{Suzi}}} I'm sorry. You don't need this additional stress right now. Maybe you can put him to work doing stuff that already needs to be done around the house as punishment.

We may be getting a portable dishwasher for $50 tomorrow. Keeping my fingers crossed. I really don't want to have to spend $400 on a new one.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Poor you, and poor CJ. He's really such a sweet, big-hearted kid, but he's also a trouble magnet.

I just said something highly pedantic in a blog comment thread, and as soon as I'd irrevocably hit "send," I realized I probably sounded obnoxious. WHY do I have so much trouble keeping my mouth shut when someone is wrong on the internets, even when it's a minor point with no ill will involved and no possibility of making a difference in anyone's life?

Because somehow we are related?

Ann, that's a ferret.

Yay, vw! Despite the aggravation you had to go through to get it done.

SuziQ, egad.

Could be! I think I'm going to go post a "Sorry I was so pedantic" note just to salve my conscience a bit...

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Suzi, I'm sorry.

TO cheer you up, see cats running on a treadmill.
