Spike's Bitches 40: Buckle Up, Kids! Daddy's Puttin' the Hammer Down.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Dear Jackhole Tenant:

Yes, the law regarding security deposits does say if I don't get yours back to you within 30 days, we can be sued for double the amount. Thank you for quoting that back to me and my boss. I appreciate it.

However, numbnuts, you skipped over the part that says: “You must notify your landlord within four days after you move of a forwarding address where you can be reached or where you will receive mail, otherwise your landlord shall be relieved of sending you an itemized list of damages and the penalties adherent to that failure.”

Next time you decide to quote the law to me, make sure you are acting within all the letters of it, not just the ones you decide you like.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Suzi, I'm sorry! It was me. I went to bed at 9:30 p.m. (central) and slept until Owen woke me at 7 a.m.

All your sleep are belonging to me!

House-selling~ma for you.

We're still waiting on the results from our inspection on Friday. If it ends well, we can take the company buy out. Which would be freakin' nice.

Laura, I hope you get treated (even by yourself) as well as you should on Sunday. DH and I have a babysitter this weekend--the in-laws are coming up to watch the kids while we fly out to Columbus and relax in a hotel. I suspect we'll be handling some house stuff, too, but mostly hanging out and eating in nice restaurants and shopping.

Aims, I love those dresses. Em needs them! I would buy them for Liv but we don't dress up enough! Plus 3T is way too big for her yet.

It must have been you. In addition to my insomnia, right after I posted that CJ came in complaining that his tummy hurt. He has been throwing up all night since. Each of us have only caught 10-20 minute snoozes all night. Looks like we are both home for the day.

I just watched "Maxed Out" last night, and am wondering if I can show it to one of my classes without being accused of political bias. Wow, that's a good movie.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Does anyone have a favorite website for vintage eyewear? I'm thinking of getting new glasses (with transitions lenses so I can ditch the perscription suns) and nothing I've seen in a store has appealed to me so far.

Bonus points for subtle steampunk detailing.
