It's more the issue that she's still convinced she'll have no problems driving. It will work itself out.
Spike's Bitches 40: Buckle Up, Kids! Daddy's Puttin' the Hammer Down.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
ahh the expectant pause....
Do you have the movie version of "Call it courage"?
I do my thing - "sorry, there isn't one copy of the movie in the entire system"
"But there is a movie"
"Yes, but we only have the book"
"I want the movie"
... ... What i did not say - sorry, I can't pull a movie out of my ass
Ah I see ND. I hope it works out. We had a family friend that got into several fender benders (I think 3) before she realized she really couldn't drive anymore.
I'm sure it will work out , ND. and for you too, Laura.
Beth, I know some libraries have a form people can fill out to request that the library get a certain book or whatever (not that that guarantees they will, but it lets them know there is interest). Does your library have that?
Random news: so apparently 50 Cent was doing a concert in Angola (!!), and in the middle, some fan ripped the diamond necklace off him. I find that sad and awesome at the same time. (It was unclear from the reporting, but I don't think the fan go away, sadly)
we have the form, but this was one of those... I need this for school 'cause I don't want to read the book ...
One of the guys at work asked me if I'd heard about the Hannah Montana photo shoot. I went off on my little tirade about how if you pose for Annie Liebowitz you ought to know what to expect and then paused, "but wait, wasn't that Miley Cyrus?"
"uh-yeah. They're the same person."
doh!
When I'm working reception I usually say something like "If I see them I'll be sure and let them know you called."
I used to do that, but then sometimes they'd call me back and ask me if I'd seen them.
I know we covered this a couple weeks ago but I've forgotten. What do you say to someone who is quitting and you haven't enjoyed working with them, you're not going to miss them and you're not sorry to see them go?
"Good luck with that!"
