sj, your best bet is probably going to be blogs. I can poke around some of the mother blogs I know and see if I can find anyone with a similar situation.
I would really appreciate this if you can find the time. Most of what I am finding is information on raising a child who has a disability and information on raising a child if you are in a wheelchair.
What is it in particular that you're looking for, sj?

I'm not really sure, to be honest. I won't be able to easily carry a child once they get to a certain weight, so advice on how to handle that. Bending into a crib to pick up a baby may be difficult. I'm also looking for the millions of little things that may come up that I haven't even thought of.

It seems like there *must* be a book out there about this. Or if not, there totally should be. A "What to Expect" with this particular slant.
sj, I can't think of any resources like that off the top of my head, but I'll poke around the mommy blogosphere and let you know if I come up with anything.
ION, today is a bank holiday in the UK, meaning that all of our UK post facilities are closed. Meaning that I can put in orders but nothing will be processed until tomorrow. Remind me again why the NY office is open??

I found one book on pregnancy and one book on parenting. The parenting book seemed to be geared toward wheelchairs, but there wasn't much information about the book on amazon.
Information on pregnancy concerns are hard to find too. Except that I figured out that I should take 10 times the folic acid that a pregnant woman normally take.

Thanks, Jessica.
Hey Sean! I know you're reformed and all, but the winner of the America's Worst Cook contest wins a trip to NYC so I think you should submit yourself and cite the moldy rice story for evidence. They'll be amazed at what a fast learner you are!

OOOH! Possible free trip to NYC, to hang out with NY-istas???
Yeah, I'm in there.
Hey all. I'm at work today. It's very work-like. What's up with that?
I subbed a class second period and have been grading vocabulary sentences ever since. WBDH (world's best department head) just came in and told me to leave after lunch. In fact, she thinks since my students are mostly gone this week, I should leave early or come in late every day. We'll see if that works out. I have a ton to do to start to catch up after the past two weeks.
I am going to leave here in a couple of hours, though. Man am I tired already.
I'm about to hop the bus that will take us to the train that will take us to the plane that will take us to VEGAS, BABY! And then I'll get all this stuff out of my system.
