I doubt it's a CA pink slip thing. I don't know. What I heard was that I don't turn my lesson plans in enough (true, true -- I am a total slacker) and um...sometimes I'm late. Even though it was like 7:35 when we're supposed to be there at 7;30 (school starts at 8) and it was winter and I was taking the bus.
So, if there was something else, I didn't get it -- and to be honest, I was sobbing too hard to hear anything much. I got pulled into hear this before I left (unpaid) yesterday morning because I have fucking PINKEYE again.
Somehow, all of my motivation to write crystal-clear detailed plans for my sub has disappeared. As has my determination to come back in before my 4 weeks disability is up.
Bright note: three teachers called me last night for WTF?? and they said the students are going to be really upset. I think so too.
I don't get it, but c'est la vie, and fuck them more. I worked my fucking ass off, and I loved those kids and I did a shitload to make that school better. I built a fucking LIBRARY.
