So there is something I can do, besides scream like a woman?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Also, Plei -

What would be the best way for me to go blonde? Aside from getting a wig? I'm at a dark auburn right now and I do have color on it that's about 4 weeks old, but it was a semi-perm color that didn't change my hair color one single bit.

I think I'm going to throw up. I give my presentation on my thematic unit tonight and I'm nervous as shit. I am utterly convinced that it sucks.

Hit a Sally. Get a box of Jheri Redding One and Only Color Fix. Use as directed for full lift. Repeat if needed. Deep condition.

While at Sally, get a bottle of Neutral Protein Filler and a bottle of medium or dark ash blonde, some peroxide (prolly 20 vol for hair base, 30 vol for highlights) plus a highlighting cap and some powder bleach.

Do your darker blonde base, condition, dry, pull through highlights, condition, dry.

You *may* need to tone the highlights.

What blonde are you going for?

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I read that: "Go to a salon. Talk to a colorist."

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I am utterly convinced that it sucks.

This seems very unlikely to me. What you've said about your thematic unit sounds very cool and right and I'm sure that will come across.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I read that: "go to a salon. Talk to a colorist."

Clearly we read the same way!

My last enpurpling has faded to pink, mostly, and when I went to redo it a few days ago I got all discouraged and mostly decided to cut all my hair off. I kind of want a bob but I don't want bangs, is that even possible?

Colorists?

Bah.

Now, GRANTED, my hair is tricky, but I do NOT trust colorists. I attempted a colorist. I had to fix my own hair.

I mean, that's what I would do, were I still using chemical dyes, and were I to want blonde. (Note: the closest I can get is "strawberry with gold highlights" due to my hair pulling red like whoa.)

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I read that: "go to a salon. Talk to a colorist."

Every time I've let a colorist touch my hair, I've run screaming from the results and had to fix it at home. Professionals get to cut my hair. They do not get to color it.

[HA. Nobody saw THAT x-post coming...]

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Yes, totally: [link]

Plei, you've mentioned the no chemical dyes a few times -- are you henna-ing now?
