Kaylee: Captain seem a little funny to you at breakfast this morning? Wash: Come on, Kaylee. We all know I'm the funny one.

Spike's Bitches 40: Buckle Up, Kids! Daddy's Puttin' the Hammer Down.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Sox, gmail isn't the problem, life is my problem. I'll reply now.

Timelies! I can't wait for next Tuesday. These next few days have Too Much Work. But at least I'm not on the rodent boat. My diamond shoes, let me show you them.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Retreats that you investigate, find meaningful, decide to attend: OK.

Retreats that management thinks will magically overcome organizational and personnel issues through forced socialization: Not OK.

I completely agree with this. If there is no buy-in it's a total waste of time.

Not to mention how hard it is for the facilitator, who might actually have something useful to share, to swim up stream against the tide of 'these things suck'.

Hm. I think I might have an issue.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

"There is something about this guy's energy that feels off to me. My heart tells me the vibes that would come through his words would be inimical to my highest path. And I really must listen to my own intuition on this."

This might actually work. Hmm.

Thanks, people!

Art Crawl!!!

Shane is a good name. What are you're girls' names?

Girls' names are contentious at the moment. My current fave is Tegan; GF wants Eve or Hero (um, no). I have a crush on the name Dare (as in Dare Wright, author/photog of the Lonely Doll books) but I'd never use it.

I few seconds looking at Shane Macgowan's mouth would probably cure that. Warning, do not google the name unless you want to see.

Because books.

Oooh, I love Dare. That's really cool.

Although I immediately went to a Virginia Dare place since I don't know the person you mentioned.

Oh I know his mouth - forest of teeth. Ew. Still like the name though...
