Spike's Bitches 40: Buckle Up, Kids! Daddy's Puttin' the Hammer Down.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Hey, Kristin, are you familiar with work on redefining literature by Susan Miller? She's been recommended to me, and I'm having trouble tracking her down.

The status is NOT quo.

I'm not, vw, and I did a quick JSTOR search and didn't find her. A search of the Literature Resource center turned up only Susan Miller, Figlin, who is a contemporary playwright. Did she publish articles in scholarly journals, or whole books devoted to the subject?

ION, my tutoree seems to have flaked on me. GRRR. I would have left at the beginning of 7th period if I had known. Dammit. I really need to have a short-notice cancellation fee.

Yeah, I'm coming up blank everywhere. I checked Project Muse too. I'm gonna have to e-mail adorable professor and ask him for a citation. Maybe I won't be so wibblable in e-mail.

I really need to have a short-notice cancellation fee.

Yes. You do.

move out and draw fire

Wow. Nothing makes me love Rock Band like playing Guitar Hero.

DH is home, has a head cold, hasn't slept in 26 hours, and needs to stay up a few more. Oh, and he got accosted by the KGB.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I'm gonna have to e-mail adorable professor and ask him for a citation.

Excellent excuse!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Wow. Nothing makes me love Rock Band like playing Guitar Hero.

Really? I've never played GH, only RB and I keep hearing how GH is soooooooooo much better.

Aims, your project looks good! I'm sorry I'm not giving you tons of feedback right now, but I will try to take a closer look tonight when I'm feeling a little bit better. When is it due?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Wow. Nothing makes me love Rock Band like playing Guitar Hero.

Is there any real difference in the guitar domain?

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Omnis, you are killing me. I am going to come breathe infection on you until you tell me WTF is going on!
I think I'm going to chat with you and ND this weekend. Have to. Or head will explode.
The boys? What boys are at my house?
Um. Nothing. I know nothing. (I need to get better at this. I can only do one Plausible Denial at a time.)
Wow. Nothing makes me love Rock Band like playing Guitar Hero.
Were you over at ND's playing too. Oops. Shit. Well, there goes one secret. Ya, I agree. I think the pace is much better on RB. The hammer on/off thingies are easier to see, and the hyper mode (whatever they call it) is better. Plus the buttons at the bottom make those Hard levels easier (not that I can do them yet).

So. The funny thing about head explodey. Seems, with the OMGness, and the adrenaline and what not, I actually gave myself a headache. Go figure, a head explode really does hurt. Thank you Tylenol!
