[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Ya in May I'll get the $600 tax incentive thing. But I have to pay my taxes before I get the incentive.

IRS Stimulus Payment Schedule: [link]

Note that people who had their tax refund direct deposited are the first to get their stimulus payments issued, and will receive the payment by direct deposit to the same account.

People who received their refund by check, and those who owed taxes and paid by check or credit card, are on the later schedule to receive their payment by check through the mail.

It's still unclear to me whether people who paid their tax bill with an electronic funds withdrawal from a checking or savings account will get their payment by direct deposit or not. I'd bet "not," until the IRS clearly says otherwise.

Librarian Warlord

Lots of healing ~ma and biopsy ~ma for Byron.

Get well soon, but take a long nap ~ma for Ellie!

I would very much like to give one of our part time librarians enough rope to hang herself tonight in an annual review meeting, but I'm afraid the Big Boss won't let me. (She'd hang herself by answering the question, "What hours did you work on Sunday?" because if she lies I have proof that she left in the middle of the day (elevator & garage records), and if she tells the truth then she falsified her timesheet.) Big Boss never lets me fire people who deserve it! ::pout::

So I gave in to the urge and had BK for breakfast. I have achieved a semblance of a tater tot! The sausage, egg and cheese biscuit was somewhat disappointing due to the biscuit; I miss the sourdough thing they used to have for a breakfast sandwich.

Must have a light lunch, though. And take a long walk afterwards.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Sparky, that's bothersome enough to make me need a mouth guard, against the teeth-grinding I would be doing.

Nora, back~ma for you. I'm glad Taz is there to keep you company. Maybe he will purr you better.

Stephanie, I'm glad Ellie is ok today.

There was more, but I forgot.

P.S. I'm not crazy about tater tots. Probably because I first encountered them as school food.

Mostly lurking...

Tater tots are one of those things that I'm surprised I still like. It was certainly a staple comfort food in my house growing up, but some of those I ate so much that I just can't eat them anymore (like rice with cream of tuna sauce). We usually ate tater tots in tater tot casserole, which was tater tots, cream of mushroom soup, and ground beef. I don't eat them that way very much any more, but do get cravings for it every once in a while.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

I need someone to talk me off a ledge before I go postal on all the anti-vaccination nutjobs on my local parenting list.

It is not a "complicated issue." The only question you need to ask yourself is "Do I want my child to die of [insert childhood disease here]?" If the answer is no, GET THE FUCKING SHOTS. How many times does the autism myth need to be debunked before these people get it through their thick skulls that VACCINES SAVE FUCKING LIVES??????

Nora's back had better start behaving. Glad Taz is coming out of hiding, though.

I must say, my thought was whoever names a pet Taz (and I realize he was already named when you got him) is really kinda asking for it. Even if it's meant ironically.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

A lot more if John McCain has anything to say about it.

Because books.

Jessica, come off the ledge! Ignore the crazy talkers!

Vaccinations are just so simple, if you ask me. Do I want my kid to get polio? NO. And chicken pox may not kill you, but if you can avoid the itching and scarring and general ICK, why wouldn't you?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Don't explodiate the idiots, Jess. It won't make them any smarter, and we don't want you in jail. (That said, I second your ARGH)
