Spike's Bitches 40: Buckle Up, Kids! Daddy's Puttin' the Hammer Down.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

she says she doesn't care how his head gets crushed as long as it happens.

The status is NOT quo.

This was MADE for Aimee...on SO many levels!

Laga, I'm so sorry to hear about asshat, though not surprised, I'm afraid. Please send your sister my love.

it's weird because I feel like I should be feeling vindicated right now, like everytime my sister says, "I don't deserve you guys" about me and Mom I should be thinking, "that's right: you don't."

Instead I'm feeling so horrible for her. I'd give anything to be able to take away her pain and embarassment. I'm very relieved that I don't have to pretend anymore but I don't feel a smidge of 'I told you so'.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

That's because you wanted her away from him because it was a bad situation for her, not to prove some point, or act superior and condecending.

In other words, you are a caring, loving sister.

Compassionately intolerant

In other words, you are a caring, loving sister.

Bears repeating.

brillig

Someday, Laga, in a dark alley, he'll turn a corner and find a bevy of Bitches waiting for him. Then it will all become right.

Well sure. There's that part of being a loving caring sister too.

A few years ago, my sister had a seemingly amicable break up with a guy I really got along with. After he came to play a club here in town and called to see if we wanted to come up, so we did.

After, when I saw my sister at Christmas, I told her we'd gone to see him. That's when she told me the real reason they broke up was that he'd been cheating on her.

Her: It's no big deal though. I know he always really, really wanted to play that club, so it's really cool that he's fulfilled that goal.

Me: So I guess now, he can just die then.

Oh, Laga, that is awful! I'm so sorry.

Also, I can't help just laughing and laughing a the image of Emily chaperoning prom. I'm a mean ex-roommate, apparently.

Also, Toto was very helpful at study day: [link]

And in YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY news! I have a complete draft of my thesis that I am really pleased with and comfortable about. I'm just waiting for the ok from my adviser, and then the last two sections go to the proofreader.

I feel the need to point out that my thesis isn't actually due for 3 days, 15 hours, 22 minutes, and 30 seconds. I'm so ahead of the game, I can't even believe it. I'm good. Who knew I had this in me?

Woohoo!
