You're nice, and you're funny and you don't smoke, and okay, werewolf, but that's not all the time. I mean, three days out of the month, I'm not much fun to be around, either.

Spike's Bitches 40: Buckle Up, Kids! Daddy's Puttin' the Hammer Down.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Brenda, I feel your answer was too long for my comprehension. Could you be more concise?

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I feel bad for Berto with his jaw wired shut having to be here with all the cooking smells. I told him I'd make everything again after he gets his face unlocked.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Thirding brenda's opinion.

oh and earlier, when everyone was saying what a fucktard Aimee's boss is? I agree with that too.

When I worked at a restaurant we had a boss who was so bad I wish I knew then what I know now about labor laws. He actually grabbed my arm one time and pulled me back up the stairs when I was trying to go home after working 12 hours. Saturdays we opened at 5 and we used to have a crew dinner at three and then do all our sidework and gather in the bar for a meeting and to taste the specials before opening. More often than not this would include time for boss to tell us what a bunch of slackers we were and how we didn't deserve to work there blah blah blah etc. One day around Christmastime he was on a rant about people asking for too much time off and he shouted, "what's more important! Your work or your family?!"

Several of us laughed and one cheeky guy (who was an excellent server) raised his hand, "ummmmm. Is this a trick question?"

Things did get better after his son was born. It was like he turned into a completely different person.

Always Anti-fascist!

A little, maybe, but think of it as getting repayment on all the agita you got from it.(Which I'm guessing you have, right?)

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Pete just got mail from his contact for the project he's been driving himself crazy over. The deadline got pushed out by almost a month. Which means Pete's head isn't going to explode, and he's taking the rest of the day off to play video games. I don't blame him.
