Trust my rage

so, SIL had her baby. I got a text from my bro at 1:30 saying only that it was a baby girl. I called my parents only to find out that my bro called them with name and details (Kaylee (not sure on middle name) 7 lbs 9 oz)

In super selfish news, I'm sort of mad that my bro called my parents or more accurately that he didn't tell me he called them. It is a death sentence if both Ellie and Frisco wake up at the same time and I'm the only adult here but I took the risk and took the phone to bed with me to make sure my parents got the news as possible. I'm sort of mad at myself for being mad but chronic sleep dep can make you extra cranky. Still, good news of baby Kaylee outweighs the cranky, I guess.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Anti-depressants = good. Feeling level and mellow compared to yesterday.

Helped that we actually got up on time...ish.

Now, if only the phone system would spontaneously explode, my day will have been said to rock.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Sorry you are so tired and unhappy with your sib, Stephanie. I'm sure once you get to see Kaylee all the bad feelings will dissipate. Congratulations!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Here on the West Coast, March is finally, officially over. Here's to a much better April.

HELLS YEAH. Goodbye, March, and don't let the door hit your ass on the way out. FEH.

sj, I think I may have missed the outcome of your apt hunt -- did you and TCG find something?

I am less motivated than usual this morning. It looks like my taxes aren't going to be as bad as I thought they were, and being happy about that used up all my energy for the day.

Yes! It's a super cute first floor of a two family house. Hardwood floors throughout, much more accessible to me, and a washer and dryer in the kitchen. The only downside is I have to buy a portable dishwasher. Thanks for asking. We're moving in sometime between May 1st and May 31st.

Lucky landlords!

Why a portable dishwasher? (sorry if I'm asking something that should be obvious to me)

Because it doesn't have a dishwasher, and I know that if we don't get one there will be dishes pilled up to the ceiling at some point.
