Spike's Bitches 40: Buckle Up, Kids! Daddy's Puttin' the Hammer Down.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Wow, that's a long flight with three kids. I'd be hitting my doctor up for some Children's Valium for that one.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

! Bless your mum!

Egyptians ADORE babies. And kids in general. A. Dore. They will be spoiled rotten. And everywhere is kid-friendly. (Even to the point of pissing me off - I mean, come on, WTF with my gym being full of kids? WTF?)

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I shared some of your thoughts on my sister's latest craziness with my Mom. She responds:

thanks to you and all your buddies............she may just not be able to blame herself yet. Hope she can see clearly some day............it's very weird...........

I said yes, weird is what it is.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

OK, maybe dragging my less-than-healthy ass to the ballpark wasn't the smartest thing I ever did.

It was supposed to be like 50 and partly cloudy, chance of rain. It was more like 40 with windchill a bit lower, with at various points rain, hail, and SNOW. OK, so it wasn't actually snowing on us, thanks to the roof (though we did get rained on a bit while they were closing it), but the roof doesn't completely seal off the ballpark from the elements so it was OMG windy and cold.

Brrr! I'm still not thawed out!

As for the game...well, it's still going on (we left after the 6th because we were all OMG cold and Annabel was pleading to go home), and the M's are winning, but they don't look that impressive, and I didn't see anything from Erik Bedard to convince me it was worth losing Adam Jones to get him or that he deserves to be the #1 starter on a team that has Felix Hernandez.

Our wings are not tired.

It would be nice to average out our weather. The windows are wide open and I am hot and sticky and yucky. 11:30 here and still 75 outside, warmer inside. Ick.

I was inside a bookstore all afternoon, pointedly ignoring the weather. And then I got tacos from a taco truck. OMGYUM.

I feel like I should be accomplishing something, but what? OK, go to the gym would be a start, but...

I'm glad I have a job starting next week, or I'd be completely losing it.
