Spike's Bitches 40: Buckle Up, Kids! Daddy's Puttin' the Hammer Down.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Cutie Dylan!

I scanned some old family pics and put them on Flickr [link] How adorable was my dad????

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Gloomcookie, your dad is a total boo! (No, really, it's a very good thing to be a boo! There is almost no higher praise chez Zmayhem!)

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Oh, I love seeing old photos on Flickr! I need to make a trip back to my grandmother's house and steal a few more shoeboxfuls before they're lost.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Also, from way upthread, Aimee being all three years old at Em is the second-funniest thing I've ever read, but only because TomW being all three years old at Nora is even funnier.

Especially if you hear that exchange in TomW's voice.

Because books.

Yeah, this was definitely a big part of getting through Sara's first year.

I know we have a scanner, somewhere, that we've never used. I want to set it up, because I have great pictures of my grandparents, and my parents as kids and teenagers, and the hard copies are worse for the wear.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Em went to class with me last night and was such. a. ham. She performed "Doe a Deer" and "Tomorrow" for my classmates during our break. Complete with choreography and grand hand gestures. She was HIGH-larious. Also, she kept following Mary, my prof, around, complimenting her. "I like your shoes. I'm glad you're here. I like your flowers on your shirt."

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Way to suck up to the prof, Em.

The level of cuteness in this thread this morning is definitely lethal.

Because books.

You took Em to class, Aimee?! Brave woman. I am unsurprised by the cute, though.

And thank you, JZ! She was a pretty adorable baby. Before the demon started showing...
