Oh, smacked in the noggin with a 2x4 wrapped in velvet. Yeah, that's what it felt like.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Whew! A bit over a thousand posts behind, and I think I'm finally caught up.

Happy birthday, Raq and Kathy!

Happy birthday +1 to Signor Carino, Pete!

Happy really belated birthday to tommyrot! (Thanks again for trekking out on a cold and really early Sunday morning for brunch!)

{{{Scrappy}}} My heart goes out to all of you. I'm so sorry you have to endure this. Much love and miracle~ma.

{{{Kristin}}} I'm so sorry about Byron, but so very glad there was a way around it. He's a very lucky pirate to have you as his human.

Happy Sunday that also happens to be Easter!

I woke up today and found that my husband made me an Easter basket. He had nothing, because we normally don't do Easter baskets. I still feel like a heel, but it was a sweet surprise.

This afternoon we headed to PA to have dinner with my family. Twenty people in total and we were all related. This is why my parents insist on holidays at the restaurant. No house has enough room. Dinner was our typical Easter menu: pasta, meatballs, and a ham. No goat this year, for the first time in a long time. Then fruit flan for dessert. Yummy, and I got to bring home the leftover sauce and meatballs. There's enough for at least two dinners.

"Those are good arms to have."(And by have, he'd know I meant...) Discovery must have gotten the memo too--there's been some skin in recent Jobs.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

ow ow ow I shouldn't have pushed myself so hard in my riding lesson this morning. I don't think I've been on a horse in a year.

If he would agree, I would agree, Connie. Foamy dude, Mr. Rowe. Funny. Nice teeth.(I have a thing about that.) Manly, in a good way. The opera singer thing is a nice bonus, though. As are things like "daggone it," and being willing to look dumb on TV. Connie for President of the Discovery Channel!

Yep. He also used to sell stuff on QVC. He got in trouble for having a nun doll upside down in his lap.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

He got in trouble for having a nun doll upside down in his lap.

Who hasn't?

Off camera he had been trying to figure out how the music worked cause the doll played music. So upside down, skirt flopped the wrong way, nun face in his lap and the camera is back on him.... And he deadpanned some completely inappropriate response.
