Oooh, a new person! Hello, NoiseDesign, and welcome. Introduce yourself and make yourself at home. What do you do for a living?
Shut up you.
Buffy ,'Lessons'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Thanks, Cash! When I said it, I didn't even think of it as an unusual term, so I think I was as astonished by the blank stare as she was by the term itself.
Annabel in a dress:
We discovered when we got to church that they'd been teaching Palm Sunday at her daycare (also church-sponsored, but a different church), because she already knew her lines. However, when we walked into the church and the pipe organ was playing and the place was packed with great big tall grown-ups staring at her, she was seized by a fit of shy and overwhelmed. She clung to my hand and hid behind me for the walk up the aisle, and when we got to the front of the church, she curled up on the floor and hid her head.
ION, if anyone has any expertise on estate law or knows of anyone who does, please let me know. There's an added wrinkle to the potential inheritance, one that I'd rather not go into detail about in a publicly searchable forum.
Suffice it to say it's all very stressful...
Well, I hope you get a good resolution and whatever the answer is , it may depend on what state the will was filed in, no?
I had an irish car bomb last night.
LOVE these!
It tasted like ice cream with Guinness sauce.
And that's why I love them.
If the people of Ireland think "black and tan" is an offensive name for a drink I can't imagine what they'd think of this one.
Yeah, this is true. But they're still verra tasty.
What's seitan?
Protein source, made of wheat gluten. Can be used as a meat substitute, but also yum in things that didn't have meat to begin with.
Aimee, everyone else had good answers for that algebra answer, but I'd add that 2/1 is equal to 2, so what you've got is 2^2, which is 4. And if the problem said "simplify," then "4" is probably the simplest that answer is going to get.
I prefer to hail Stan.
