I think I'm going insane.
I blame local laws involving chemical analysis and classification.
I AM COMPLIANT WITH STATE AND FEDERAL LAWS. WHY ARE YOU TORTURING ME????

I do need that much underwear, as the Underpants Gnomes periodically take my underwear and replace them with underwear with holes....
I tried to explain to The Boy that he, too, needs that much underwear, but as I'm not his mom, and I don't do his laundry, I don't actually care if he only has 4 pairs of tighty-whities than are more hole than garment.
Seekrit message to Steph:
Seekrit message to Aimee: but aren't they all bulky? My underwear are made of thin, slidy fabric that's designed to not add one iota of bulk to my ass area.
So that Winehouse chick -- she can really sing, huh?
I don't own a bra
Steph: The ones I wore weren't. I wore them under a pair of jeans on a vaca that I forgot to pack my own and I refuse to not wear underwear so it was them or nothing. They were FotL and pretty thin, but supportive. And also held my c-section pooch in a bit.
Hey bon bon, check out the speaker I got for my symposium:
I think bob bob will dig him, he's all philosophy of time. He makes my head explode.

I tried that, but there were chafing issues. (Actually, I remember now, there were more, er, visibility issues.)

Oh, that sounds interesting. Totally the sort of thing I'd go see if I wasn't 2000 miles away....
Buffista parents of very small humans, I have a question - what is your favorite brand of baby shoes for pre-walkers? I don't necessarily need them to be supercute, but I do need them to be (a) flexible (b) lightweight and (b) not ginormously expensive. Basically, the NYC parks service require shoes to be worn in all their playgrounds, so D needs shoes for the spring even though he won't be walking for at least another few months.
Jess, Robeez are great--and pricey, but there are now lots of lower-cost knockoffs available. Target makes some pretty good ones. Matilda has these, which are super comfy, light and flexible but excessively girly; it looks like the best boyshoe equivalent is this pair.
