Did y'all see the thing on BBCA last night about Living with big boobs? One girl had decided to live with hers as they were and so went to be fitted. They also said that most women are wearing the wrong size, but then she also said exactly how they should fit. Band horizontal and even with the front, underwire on the outsice of the boob, front flat to the chest, and nipple line between elbow and shoulder.
I also loved the part where the girl had her friends who were always on about how they would trade boobs with her had to walk around with a simulation of them made of hose and pounds of sugar to see just how fun it really is.
I believe I'm back to wearing "Nearly A". Man, I'm glad I'm not overly body-conscious.

I'm taking a girlfriend of mine to get measured. I've been told she tries her bras on over a tshirt.

I have the LB bra (I'm wearing it right now, as a matter of fact) It's good, not quite as good as the $70 type (Wacoal, I expect). I wait for the Nordstrom sales and see if they have any (which is how I found the first one I bought)
I would totally wear Jill Scott bras! Too bad I don't wear larger sizes...

I've been wearing Wacoal for years. But their bras in the $40 range only go up to DD. Most of the $70 ones were Wacoal (as is the $60 super industrial one I bought) but I did try one that I can't remember the brand that was really pretty. But totally impractical for that kind of money.
I'll have to check the Rack (hardyhar) more often for sales.

They also said the reason most women wear the wrong size is that when they get to the point where they are regularly buying their bras themselves, they just stick with the size they've always been. Also, that getting fitted can be embarassing, and that to admit to yourself you're something as large as you would only think a porn star would be requires some...psychological adjustment.
