Is this in English? Is Sox okay?
It's Mandarin. Kai-Lan is Chinese and they teach kids simple words in Mandarin much like Dora does for Spanish. My kids LOVE it. I think Liv was using the Chinese word for "jump" but I could be wrong.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

not much better - conference call is rescheduled. but Iris is eating some lunch. yay.
Good call, Scrappy! You are indeed Nice to be Kneaded!
I could use a massage after this week but I am so tired I'm sure I would just fall asleep on the table....
I've decided that my first big furniture purchase after I move is going to be this set in pink ice. The estimate is $1200, so it's going to take me a bit to save for it.
There's such a thing as "too much crabcake?"No.
Or yes. But that's only applicable in a single bite. So long as you don't put too much in your mouth at once, there is no such thing as too much crabcake.
I missed last week's massage, dammit. I was just in no shape. Hopefully I will be better this week. She's offered to come to my house and massage me there if I can't drive, but if the pain's bad enough to stop me driving I don't usually want to be touched either.
Plus it's weird to have a friend come over and massage you for money in my living room. She's had my hands on my naked body in her apartment, but that seemed different.
this set in pink ice
But you can't sleep on it!
I have a severe reluctance towards unsleepable furniture.
I just had cause to say "I put the 'ita' into 'Gothic Lolita'." I have a feeling I'll pay for that, sooner if not later.
Good news, though--the histology confirmed that the amputation, as awful a decision as it was, was the right choice. They were able to completely remove all cancerous material, so he has a real chance for more years or healthy & happy, albeit three-legged, life. Phew.
YAY!
