It's a real burden being right so often.

Punishingly Intricate

I'd love it if they found the $$ to make this one stick.

Really hoping this is what happens.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Emeline threw me off this morning.

I was all braced for the usual "I WILL NOT WEAR PANTS, NO, NEVER AAAAIIIIEEEEEE!!!" Instead she informed me first thing that she likes pants now and was more than happy to wear them.

I suspect a trap.

Compassionately intolerant

I suspect a trap.

It's copacetic in here. Too copacetic.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

But it might raise suspicion that you'd been having an affair with Robert Jordan.

Well, given that one of my literary dreams is to find a character or characters to be my Sharpe or Aubrey/Maturin so I can settle in and write about them for 20 books or so, I think that's all me...

Instead she informed me first thing that she likes pants now and was more than happy to wear them.

Annabel has decided that dresses aren't the ultimate evil, but only if they don't have flowers on them and only to wear to church. She likes purses, though. She loves wearing her Mariners jacket, which is an exact miniature of the current team jackets, while carrying the white lace purse we got to go with her Easter dress.

I read some Robert Jordon, but there came a point that I just stopped caring how the story would turn out. Little did I suspect that the story would never turn out.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

ION, I only just decided to keep my hair a little longer than it's been in recent years, and I see that picture of Katie Holme's new haircut and suddenly think that's what I want. I don't really want a "heavy fringe," right?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Little did I suspect that the story would never turn out.

No, it will. His son will wrap it up.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Crosses "Large Animal Veterinarian" off of list of career aspirations

It isn't just large animals. Teddy really got a claw into someone during his bloodwork appointment last night. Fortunately or otherwise, it was me. Fortunately (at least in a could-be-worse way) he got my right thumb, and I'm left-handed.

Really? I had no idea. He lost me though, just strung things out too long and as the number of characters expanded it seemed like they were all the same. Especially the women, to the point I started wonder if the dude had some issues.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I need to get out of my office and actually take a lunch break, or I am going to get in the elevator and choke to death a variety of coworkers on several different floors.
