It's because you didn't have a strong father figure isn't it?

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

I want to read a piece of futurism and technology as depicted in visual sci-fi. About where people let their brains go (communicators, transporting) and didn't (no dynamic data screens, traditional gender roles) and why--budget? Current technology? Culture?

Ooh, me too. Someone should write that. And then send me a link.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Little late - but this is the tutu I made Em for her ladybug costume:

Did this require a sewing machine?

I used one, but you don't HAVE to use one. It was very easy to make.

JESSE!! I do not know what to do with that info except maybe weep. Are you watching this season? I have half-ass caught like 3 episodes.

FTR - I enjoyed Horton.

Mr. Scola’s wardrobe by Botany 500

Last night I dreamed I was waiting in the subway station to go to work, and then there was a blackout. It was completely dark, and I slipped and fell off the edge of the platform — and then I woke up.

I fell right back asleep, and I was in the same dream: I was in the subway station during a blackout, only this time I had a flashlight with me.

I'm about to leave for work right now. Wish me luck.

Don't forget your flashlight, Tom!

(Okay, I mistyped your name as "Rom" and then "Tim" before I finally got it right. Clearly more coffee is indicated.)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I wonder if it's some kind of funding drive, "And with your pledge of $20 or more, you'll get the second half of Car Talk."

Ha!

Yeah, I'm watching, but kind of hating it, per usual.

So I just did my time sheet and realized why I'm cranky! I worked every day in March! Every week day, of course. But no holidays, no vacation days, no sicks days. Ugh.

I was just thinking this morning, I have not taken a sick day yet. I think I may take one tomorrow or maybe next week, just because I am tired. I have taken one half personal day, but that was to get mac to a Dr., NOT relaxing.

Art Crawl!!!

NPR podcasts: I got only 8 minutes of yesterday's Fresh Air - not even a complete story. I used the work around that All Songs Considered suggested and it didn't work. They suggest deleting the bad download, unsubscribing from the podcast and then resubscribing.

Today is totally not relaxing and what is it with people not giving me information necessary to do my job? Hello?

Oh! I had a problem with the Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me Podcast (it only gave me 5 minutes of the show). I'll have to try that.

I had a disturbing dream last night that William H. Macy was on my bike team and he tried to make out with me and he was a Very Bad Kisser. I'm still kind of grossed out by it. On the plus side, there was a lady in the dream making cakes for us to sell at a bakesale and they were verrry delicious.
