I am also the person that will walk out of my office with an envelope in my hand to put in the mailbox that I walk by on the way to the car, and be reaching for the door handle of the car and realize that it's still in my hand.
I have totally done that. And the other day, i was all "Must mail my background check info!" And looked up the address, and found an envelope, and addressed it, and put a stamp on, and left the house...only to remember that you need to put the actual thing you're mailing in the envelope, too...

I had to change the @(&$! ribbon on the stupid thermal DVD labeller. I've got thermally adhered black (and cyan and yellow and magenta!) smudges all over my hands. And I had to go climbing on tables because the only person tall enough to do that is 6'5" and telecommuting and I am very not. Either. Grr.

I need to mail my state taxes, for which I owe money (fucking university fucked up my withholding even though I TOLD them I'd moved),but I can't find my motherfucking checks. I remember putting them on the bookshelf, and I remember thinking "oh, I should move those to a safe place", but the checks are not IN any of the safe places I can think of ARGH. And I have to send in the form with the check, so I can't just do an electronic one.
