Um, well, we listened to aggressively cheerful music sung by people chosen for their ability to dance. Then we ate cookie dough, and talked about boys.

If you had to choose between a month of mondays or working every sunday (along with your usual work schedule) for 9 months, which would you choose?

If I had to choose think I'd go for a month of Mondays. Working every Sunday would ruin Saturday nights for me, and it wouldn't do anything to eliminate the inevitable Monday.

It wouldn't do anything to eliminate the inevitable Monday.

But would it make Sunday Monday?

But would it make Sunday Monday?

Only if everyone else employed here had to be here, also. If I just have to work, then Sunday is Sunday and Monday is Monday.

does that make sense? do I need more coffee?

I've worked six days a week before, and I'll do it again.

I would just like my brain to wake up today.

So other people are a factor in the Mondayness of Monday?

Ann, that's a ferret.

Belated Happy Birthday, libkitty!

In other news, Hubs picked up a virus on his recent business trip. Definitely serious -- his boss told him to go home.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Since the fridge isn't working, I have to go outside to procure lunch.

Grocery store options:

  • Frozen dinner of some kind
  • Sushi
  • Soup and bread

Other options are assorted fast-food places.

What do I want?

Punishingly Intricate

I'd say sushi but Monday is traditionally not such a great day to have seafood.

So, soup & bread!
