sounds like the perfect personal day.
Too many people are already on the calendar to be off that week, so I can't. (We all have use-it-or-lose-it vacation days to get in before May 1, so scheduling days off right now is a bear.)
I can't really believe that the faculty and students are going to make great efforts to show up that day if they can find a way to cancel classes -- people trying to get kids to day care, etc., what the heck are they supposed to do?

Here is what I am looking for. I have to take my new HD to the data recovery people at lunch - that means a subway ride - which means...KNITTING! I had forgotten how much I enjoyed it.
