I've been on a laundry treadmill in order to keep Byron's bedding relatively clean and nice, but yesterday was all about clothes. What annoys me is that I washed ALL of the towels and sheets last weekend, and now they're dirty again. I mean, c'mon! Give a girl a break!
Nothing like a guest to inspire cleaning, though, no doubt. Makes me kind of wish we had one coming. But not too much. The house is s pit.
That's why I like to have people over, it forces me to clean at least to SOME extent (depending on who the guests are)
But then we figured that she must have been a few years younger, so maybe I was that girl for her!
Aww! We all wanted pictures of Mary, and to find out what she was doing now. We were very curious. And thought C should like, send her some of the diary or something. C said next time she would just show up with Mary and we would all be like 'Heeeeeeey!" and Mary would be like "WTF?" (Apparently, they saw each other at their 10 year high school reunion, but Mary was not All That, as remembered)
Oh yeah, my girl was older than me, so aspirational! Although I'm not sure why I had such a thing for her in particular -- I don't think she was any big superstar at school or anything.
Yeah...I remember thinking a few different people were super super cool. There was one girl who was *so* pretty, and had the *best* handwriting, and was part of the cool crowd, but still NICE...I stopped biting my fingernails because of her! (She ...dared me? bet me? in science class, that I couldn't stop. So I did!)

Oh, I had a friend like that. Kelley. Bless the girl, she was about the only person that made junior high remotely bearable.
I think the only people I looked up to at my school were teachers.
A grand to put something that ugly on your arm? No thanks.
I just saw the Popemobile.
Quick! Check for the Pope signal!
No time to waste! to the Pope cave!
I stopped reading the Pope after the first few issues. The character is such a Mary Sue, what with being infallable and all.
