Lorne: Snakes? Uh-huh. And they came out of your what? Okay. Okay, well, did they get up there themselves or is this part of a, you know, a thing? No, I'm not judging...Do we fight snakes? Angel: Only if they're giant. Or demons. Or giant demons. Are they giant demon snakes? Lorne: Well, unless this guy's 30 feet tall, I'm thinking they're of the garden variety.

One of my favorite excerpts from the sixth grade diary went something like "Why did I cut my hair? Ugh. It looks awful, and I just know Angie Tarr (who is so stuck up and mean and has to imitate me) will say "Why did you cut your hair, it looks ugly!"

I honestly have almost no memory of that girl, but apparently I disliked her a lot! If it hadn't been a diary for English class, I wonder what else I would've said about those kids!

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Those 9 year old and 16 year old and 20 year old aren't today's-me as well, but they are parts of me. And usually, the diary parts are the parts I wanted to keep away from the humanity, for my own 9, 16 and 20 year old sake.

And oh, ita. I hope you'll fall asleep easy and soon.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I had some impassioned journalling in my mid 20s that...no, no more of that. I'm not down with that chick.

Have been swallowed up in Millionaire Matchmaker. Hopefully this will put me to sleep.

Celebrity Matchmaker

Oh. My. God.

Every time I think it's a shame I don't watch enough TV, someone reminds me why I'm not watching so much of it as I used to (well, apart of the "changed my entertainment consumption, more books and live music and music", etc). And I'm thankful for those remindings.

And I'm doing the skipping-again-in-order-to-post dance, because according to the Buffista Calendar, today is libkitty's birthday.

Happy birthday, libkitty! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!
