Wash: I didn't think you were one for rituals and such. Mal: I'm not, but it'll keep the others busy for a while. No reason to concern them with what's to be done.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Watching the National Geographic channel as I read, and they're animating hominids and I'm having a terrible uncanny valley time. The proportions! And the amble/shuffle instead of walking!

It boggles me to think of so many hominid species hanging out with each other.

Ack! They're doing it again!

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

But the magazine I miss most of all is the dear, departed Mode. No other magazine for plus-size women who want actual fashion instead of muumuus comes close.

yes. I am mad that I didnt subscribe. of course, if I had, it would have saved it. Just me. no one else.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I'm drunk posting right now, AIFG!

ftr I hate the uncanny valley.

Aww, drunk posting! I am not drunk--I had two beers, but also two bottles of water and a lot of dancing. I was pretty dizzy there at a few points (the GILF likes to do these spinny "teacup turns", and I love them, but five or six in a row and I'm dizzy!).

I am, however, wondering what I want to do tomorrow. I stopped at the grocery store on my way home from dancing (yay, living near and walking past the 24 hour grocery!) and bought more breakfast food. I am set for breakfast...

I've had half a bottle of champagne and I think I should stop as I have to open tomorrow.

Yay for twirly GILF dancing!

Mnnf. Two more days and then solid food. I hate good ideas. I even used to be looking forwards to this juiciness.

New trends in interview methodology?

Let me hope not. I find it disturbing.

Tommyrot:

  • Windows EasySim Digital Simulator. They don't have a trial download which just strikes me as weird for an un-tested company and software whose box you can't even turn over in your hands.

It's weird--whatever computer I sit down at, I can't find simulator software for that OS. So I'm here on Linux, and all I can find is Windows (which I couldn't find at work) and Mac. I'm going to head back to bed now, where Mac OS X is, and then I'll grab the [link] damned software.

hip deep in pie

A group of men have been waiting to do something, and their leader says, "Now!"

The few times I've been told to hurry up in French, it was usually with a "tout de suite", which means immediately.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OK, why the fuck did I wake up at 7? That was totally unnecessary. OTOH, what have I been doing for the past two hours? Unclear.
