We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Scrappy, I'm so sorry. Peace to you and yours.

In a whiplash change of topic, happy birthday Allyson! May the next year be stressfree and joyful.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Ya know, there are some things you don't really need to know about your parents. If I ever were to find myself in the same room as her, I'd probably blush and mutter about bees.

I'm not sure I want to know that about your father either.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I'm not sure I want to know that about your father either.

Ha. Yeah, me too. Now I'll have to blush just if I ever meet your father.

That'll give you, um, bees!

Bwahahahah. I hadn't thought about that in a long time.

I guess, in his defense, it was back in the 60's. Whatever.

And yeah, there are many things I know about my father that I have to pretend I don't know otherwise I'd never be able to look him in the face.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Granted it's not my father, but I think it makes a great story.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

in his defense, it was back in the 60's. Whatever.

Nah, see, it's totally okay (even perhaps cool, because--hey---Joan BAEZ!!!) that he did (well, as long as consensing adults, good time had, spielspielspiel). It's the knowledge.

My parents never played FCM, dammit!

No matter how liberated I might get about many things, my parents' sex lives are not on the list of things I expect to be able to deal with adultly any time soon.

Heh. After what, like two nights?, I'm all "It's near bedtime, where's Shir with the report from tomorrow morning??"

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

I'm here, I'm here! Good morning!

Just finished asking my insurance agent a lot of questions, and next week I'll finally have a pension fund. Yay me, that was scary.

Today will be okay. Yesterday I had a huge disappointment with finding out that again, I won't get the album I was really looking forward, for the fourth time in a row. Stupid importing issues. I bitched a lot in the relevant fandom, stopped working, got sleep, Buffy eps into the DVD and perspective (not necessarily in that order), and things are looking better today.

And hey, radio plays Lanegan. Can't be a bad day.

And now, to the workmobile! Away!

Swouncing

And I'm skipping again, to post that according to Allyson "Sunnydale Press" Mar 28, 2007 6:37:24 am PDT today is the first birthday of two of the loveliest, most adorable twins I've ever been lucky enough to cuddle in pictures.

Happy birthday, Noah! Happy birthday, Grace! I hope you have a great day and a wonderful year (second out of many) with your mom and all your family.
