Allyson, can you make lists and organize things by priority while at work - I am trying to do that with life stuff and it seems to be helping me.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Thanks, everyone.

Her family wants a small, private funeral, so we're just taking money for flowers/donation. They haven't said if there'll be a wake, but I doubt it.

I just can't believe she won't be at her desk anymore.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm so sorry, Kathy. What a shock to come into.

In news of me, I finally figured out a use for those "write a check on your credit card" checks that seem to come in the mail every week and a half. Usually I just tear them up, but I had an inspiration. I'm in the habit of paying my condo assessments six months at a time. It's just too much of a pain to do every month, since it means actually giving a paper check to one of my neighbors instead of being able to do it electronically. But last I did that they held on to the check for yonks before getting around to depositing it, which is annoying, since it means having to keep a pretty decent amount of money in my account at all times and having to monitor it pretty closely. But by giving them one of those credit card checks, I can just wait until the charge shows up on my account and then pay that off then. So much less crazy-making!

Mad/hungry? I think we've been using hangry for that around here.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Yeah, I've always called it "hangry" -- "mangry" sounds like it has something to do with being male.
