Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I like unpacking. It's like xmas! I'm surprised by how much of my stuff is actually "packed" because I have so little closed storage, I have all this stuff in container store drawers that can just be taped closed and moved.

tiggy, I'm in the same sitch and being send to an endodontist for an evaluation. The sensitivity to pressure is, I gather, not a great sign.

great. yeah...i haven't been able to wear my retainers more than a couple of hours at night without waking up in pretty unbearable pain.

Still hate unpacking. I did just pack up a truck with a whole bunch of stuff for sale. I have to be very very careful because at this point, I'm like, "Sure! We could sell his crib! I mean, yeah, he still sleeps in it, but he doesn't NEED to." Which is dumb. Why sell it if he is still using it? yet there is a high to pricing, tagging and packing things.

scrappy, I'm sorry about your niece.

you know what is a great treat in an easter basket? Carmel covered apple. SO. GOOD.

Aside from the cost, I didn't find my last root canal that bothersome, for what it's worth. I am going to try to get them to prescribe a muscle relaxant, though, because the really unbearable part was the jaw pain from having your mouth open that long.

meara - Mar 23, 2008 2:22:32 pm PDT #6844 of 10001

Yeah, I always found the jaw pain from the dentist the worst part.

And I am one of the loves-unpacking people. This move was the best, because OTHER PEOPLE packed me (and moved all the boxes and furniture), and all I had to do was unpack! Perfect. Though I did try to do a lot of going through and getting rid of stuff, first. But I just unpacked my last three boxes the other day, and discovered notes from high school biology class, that was like "Seriously, why do I have this??"

you know the scene in Pi where the guy drills into his head to cure his migraines? I'm starting to think that sounds like a good idea. This sinus headache has been going on for FOUR. FREAKING. DAYS.

That sounds very tempting. Luckily, today is the first day in four days I *haven't* had a migraine, so....fingers are crossed.

Scrappy, your poor brother and family. How awful, for such a young person!

that's what i've heard, brenda. cost seems to be more a factor than pain from most of the people i've heard talk about it.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

honestly, root canals do what they are supposed to do - they stop the pain. no like , but they do work.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Did you have them pack everything? I've used packers before, but now I'm a little weirded out by movers packing my lingerie or bathroom stuff.

meara - Mar 23, 2008 2:45:54 pm PDT #6848 of 10001

Yeah, they packed everything, I just had a couple suitcases set aside. My lingerie is in drawers, and they basically just dumped it out into boxes. The bathroom stuff was mostly already in plastic boxes, so those just got put into other cardboard boxes, not taken apart. I didn't really move much bathroom stuff, it seemed silly.
