If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Ugh, scrappy. What a tough situation for your family.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Hard on me, but so much harder on her parents. My poor brother sounds just so TIRED on the phone. They are constantly seesawing between resignation and hope and anxiety and trying to be strong for their other two kids. I know they are just torturing themselves with "what if's" and there is no way not to.

I wish I could do more, but they don't want us out there until they know what is going to happen.

It's so miserable all around. I'll just hope for everyone.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Oy, Kat, I don't think I'm going to make it over to get the ladder. I've only got half the books packed, and books are my goal for the day.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Scrappy, I'm so sorry.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I think unpacking is better, because at least you're on the other side of the trauma. Of course, I only hate change ahead of time. When I'm packing, I'm wondering if I've made a huge mistake. When I'm unpacking, I don't think I have after all.

But really, I just hate how much time the transition takes, between finding the place, packing, and the actual move. I always want to be doing the next thing once I know what it is.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I'm really sorry, Scrappy. All the strength in the world to your family.

It's just all so hard. I'll keep all of you in my prayers still.

Jesse, I'm in that zone right now...I know we are moving, but no clue where. Can't really look for a rental until May/June, but if we don't start the cleaning/clearing/packing process now, we will be paying to move stuff that we will be getting rid of.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Scrappy, I'm so sorry your family has to cope with this.

So, there are these teething biscuits that Noah loves to smear all over himself, his high chair and others eat.

Kat, my kids ate those things by the box. Even when they had all their teeth, they loved to crunch them up and eat them. They're nasty when they dissolve but okish when still crunchy. Not that I've ever been tired, desperate and starving curious enough to give them a nibble.

We're on our second viewing of Enchanted right now. Owen is, dare I say, enchanted.
