Oh, Manolo, you have no idea what the soft butch entails. Because it sure doesn't entail 3" heels. I would suggest a nice loafer, instead.

I was about to sign up to be soft butch but I realise I can't afford the shoes.
That's true of anything in the world of the Manolo, though.

That part did make me laugh. Although I do think you can take the general look and get something flatter.

OH, sure, but....dude. Lesbians=comfortable shoes. I'm not saying Manolo has to support the fugly shoes, by any means, but...let's not jump RIGHT out of the comfort zone, eh? Girl who usually wears hiking boots isn't going to manage to stand by her poster presentation all day in those heels and not break down!

There was a very helpful comment pointing that out.
I do think something more like this [link] is probably more likely.
Those aren't that soft. For that money, you might as well get the first pair.
Okay, definitely not home early. Just got off the phone with co-worker and I think I'm waiting on an email before I can finish off this last task.
Or am I?
Those were mostly just on the same page as the others. And flat.
feh. I took like 40 minutes to write a long ass email to my boss detailing my asshole co-worker's behavior today and when I clicked Send I got logged out of our email system. This happened a couple of hours ago, I had to go run some errands, and I still want to cry about it.
Instead I will eat leftovers and watch What Not to Wear and not have a drink even though I really REALLY want one.
I should not have waited so long (almost five years) to have my eyes re-checked. I picked up my glasses with the new prescription today, and the difference is going to take a lot of getting used to. It's messing with my balance, and when I look around, I get the feeling I'm about six inches taller. Same thing when I'm driving -- my perception is that I am sitting higher. I'm not sure how that happens.
Steps down and curbs take extra thought and care. And the windows on my computer screen are no longer rectangles, they are definitely trapezoids.
No doubt my brain will adjust, but meanwhile this is just weird.
