Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I didn't even get this one!

But my life is pretty easy. And it meant I got to go to dinner with my friend of 10 years who moved away 2 years ago. We kept cracking up because we would never have guessed, 10 years ago when we were going to dinner every week, that we'd be having a long conversation about childbirth. Or for that matter, that she'd be married to the guy her little brother's age who asked her out as his friend was barfing in the bushes. I remember us thinking the prospects with such an auspicious beginning were not good.

I think I got a contact high off my friend. She was so giddy! Last night was her first night without kids in over 2 years. She kept bubbling how incredible it was to sleep a whole uninterrupted 9 hours! And how she could eat whatever without having to set an example! Dessert without finishing her dinner! She was going to get a froufrou drink but decided she didn't want to risk it bursting her giddy bubble. She figures she'll miss them in a day or so, but for now was just enjoying it.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'm about to start my 4th hour of programming class. Despite this, it's actually been a good day in that I learned lots of stuff without too much stress. But I wish I'd had longer to take a nap....
