Riley: Oh, yeah. Sorry 'bout last time. Heard I missed out on some fun. Xander: Oh yeah, fun was had. Also frolic, merriment and near-death hijinks.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That's awesome, JZ! And so fast!

There is so much insanity going on at my job, I don't even know. I was out of the office today, and just spend 45 minutes on the phone with a coworker. Not only is there craziness, there is a whole lot of Not Good.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Oooh, yikes Jesse. It is too late for that kind of thing!

You know what other consumer thing happened today that made me happy (Other than Starbucks realizing their coffee tastes like crap)? My laptop started doing something weird (the screen went black and started flashing). Since it's now like four years old, I worried that it was going to give up the ghost. I backed up my data like a good girl, but I just bought a new hard drive! I don't need to buy a new laptop right now! But I figured, well, this weird thing started happening when I got this new software. So I motored over to the software website, and in fact, it is a weird Vista driver thing and here is a link to fix it! That was totally easy and consumer friendly! Yay Elmsoft!

Oh lord -- I just tasted soap that apparently got trapped by my nail. Ew!

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Just because you washed your hands does not mean it's socially acceptable to pick your nose.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

That LJ conversation was facinating-particularly in light of a huge project at work.

I had bon bon chicken tonight, finally. [link] It was tasty-- like its namesake!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I have a chicken in the oven. I forgot to put it in after I came in from dog walking like I meant to, so it's not going to be done until 10 or so. But I'd already brined and dried and stuff, so I couldn't really put it off for tomorrow. Feh.
