Anyone know any good chicken crockpot type recipes? I'm bored with my regular stuff...
So who wants to help with loathesome staff-retreat mandatory "Fun"? I have fucking HOMEWORK to come up IN ADVANCE with a Fun Fact That People May Not Know About Me, So That My Cow-Orkers May Guess Who's Who And Keep Score!!!1!.
(Yes, there have been fake cheerful/nagging emails saying "I've only gotten 3 out of 16 entries so far!!!")
And while I have no real burning need to come up with anything that's actually, you know, true, "I blew up the Death Star" may be somewhat less than plausible. On the other hand, "I have nothing but contempt for this sort of exercise" is entirely true, but not the right sort of team-building "Fun".
slow cooker chicken recipes:
I tried this one a couple of weeks ago and liked it: [link]
I am probably trying these in the next few weeks: [link] [link]
Stephanie, boring but works:
- chicken (thighs work better, but use whatever you prefer)
- salsa
- corn
- black beans
- chipotle (if you have it) or hot sauce .
Another one that I like:
- brisket, brown before you use
- onions
- chile sauce
- can of dark beer, preferably porter or stout
- brown sugar mixed in with the beer and chile sauce

Ugh. That sucks.
Maybe something entirely trivial and obscure? "My uncle once incorporated a business in North Dakota."
Hec Haircut Alert!
BOY-SHORT, peroxide-blond heads of hair are appearing all over fashionable London, replacing the long and shaggy locks that were the dominant look of the last few years.
The inspiration is the model Agyness Deyn the face of Giorgio Armani and a favorite of the photographer Steven Meisel. Her cropped boyish hair is an anomaly on runways, where long-haired models are the norm.
“Before I went for the chop, I had long dark hair with a heavy fringe — quite a contrast,” said Natalie Gray, 26, creative director at the interior design firm No Chintz Ltd. in Manchester. “I wanted something that would look like I’ve not tried too hard, even if I have, and Aggy’s style is exactly that.”
“For this generation of early 20-somethings, she’s the new Kate Moss,” said Andrew Barn of barn//it, the hairdressing salon at Harvey Nichols in London, who is responsible for Ms. Gray’s radical transformation.
